Ferndale on Republic - strategically located on the busy Republic Drive in Randburg - is a landmark redevelopment of Brightwaters Commons and will be in full bloom by September 2019.

The Community Shopping Centre is set to transform Randburg’s shopping landscape, by offering a functional shopping destination, specifically designed to cater to the residents’ daily needs. The dedicated, trendy new office and studio space is occupied by Urban Brew, a well-respected South African television production company known for some of the most loved and eagerly followed shows in the country. Their 10 television production studios and dedicated audio post-production setup, and music-compilation facilities will occupy the historical cinema and bowling alley area, with 10 of the movie cinemas being converted into studios and 2 additional studios being built.

The redevelopment has commercial retail space available and will also feature 200 residential units as part of the future mixed-use expansion.
